AirtelI noticed unauthorized value-added service (VAS) charges on my Airtel postpaid bill for the last 3 months. These are subscription services I never signed up for, totaling Rs. 897 in extra charges.
When I called Airtel customer care, they said these were 'activated through missed calls or texts.' I never authorized any such subscriptions. They agreed to deactivate them but refused to refund the charges already billed.
This practice of activating paid services without explicit consumer consent is a violation of TRAI guidelines. I want a full refund of all unauthorized charges.
