Practo doctor consultation - wrong diagnosis led to worsened condition
Vikram Singh
Filed March 18, 2026
Complaint Against
PractoI consulted a doctor through Practo for persistent stomach pain. The doctor diagnosed it as 'acidity' over a 3-minute video call and prescribed antacids. He didn\'t ask for any tests.
After 2 weeks of taking the prescribed medication with no improvement, I visited a hospital where proper tests revealed I had a kidney stone that needed immediate treatment.
The Practo doctor\'s negligent diagnosis delayed my treatment by 2 weeks during which my condition worsened. Online consultations need proper protocols and doctors should recommend diagnostic tests instead of making assumptions.
I want Practo to improve their consultation quality standards and refund my consultation fee of Rs. 500.
