Ola Electric S1 Pro scooter software glitch causes sudden braking

Ola ElectricMy Ola Electric S1 Pro (purchased in November 2025) has been experiencing sudden braking while riding at normal speeds. This has happened 4 times in the last 2 months and is extremely dangerous.
The first incident happened on a busy road when the scooter suddenly decelerated from 45 kmph to almost zero without any input. I nearly got hit by a vehicle behind me. The dashboard showed an error code that disappeared on restart.
I took it to the Ola service center and they did a software update, but the problem persisted. On the second visit, they said they need to replace the motor controller and there is a 3-week waiting period for the part.
Meanwhile, I am paying EMI for a scooter I cannot safely ride. Ola\'s customer support just gives generic responses. This is a serious safety defect that Ola needs to address with a recall.
